Ryan Reynolds Reveals Rare Glimpse of His and Blake Lively’s Pound Ridge Retreat—and Their Life at Home With Their Kids

Ryan Reynolds has shared an glimpse at his and Blake Lively's sprawling New York property in a heartwarming tribute for his wife on her birthday.

The actor, 49, who tied the knot with Lively, 39, in 2012, took to Instagram to celebrate his wife on her special day, as he branded Aug. 25 their family's "Super Bowl."

Alongside a carousel of photos of the couple, Reynolds gushed, "Happy Birthday to the very best human I know. You’re not just another courageous and deeply kind genius. You’re also unreasonably cute.

"I know how lucky I am that you were born. Every time I’ve ever hit my head, it’s YOUR life that flashes before my eyes."

One of the photos showcased the lovebirds' stunning property, revealing that it features a stone facade.

The others highlighted their close relationship with each other and their four children: James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 3.

Lively could be seen embracing their children, whom the couple have largely kept out of the spotlight—even using emojis to conceal their faces in social media posts—while smiling alongside Reynolds.

The heartwarming post came just months after Lively settled her legal battle with Justin Baldoni, which began in 2024 after she sued Baldoni over claims he sexually harassed her during the filming of "It Ends With Us."

The actor vehemently denied the allegations and filed a $400 million countersuit against the actress, Reynolds, Lively's publicist Leslie Sloane, and Sloane’s PR firm, claiming defamation and breach of contract. That suit was later dismissed by a judge.

Lively's sexual harassment claims against Baldoni were also thrown out. However, she was allowed to pursue her allegations of retaliation against the actor, his production company, and his publicity team. Days before that case was due to go to trial in May 2026, Lively and Baldoni reached a private settlement.

However, the agreement did not end the dispute between the two after it was revealed that Lively was seeking $8 million in legal fees from Baldoni. That claim is still ongoing.

When in need of country life away from the bustling city, Lively and Reynolds can escape to their suburban home in Westchester County, about an hour’s drive from Manhattan.

The upscale area is popular with celebrities: Susan Sarandon, Richard Gere, and Mike Myers have all lived here. It's also not too far from Martha Stewart's 153-acre farm in Bedford, NY. Apparently, the domestic maven wasn't impressed when introduced, calling the "Deadpool & Wolverine" star "not so funny" in real life.

According to property records, the two picked up the Pound Ridge estate for $5.7 million in 2012—the same year they married.

Built in 1860, the seven-bedroom, six-bath mansion offers 8,892 square feet of living space.

The 12-acre parcel appears to have a converted barn on the premises, as well as stone walls, a stocked pond, and orchards.

The property comes with a separate guesthouse.

While no photos of the ultraprivate property are available, a shot from Reynolds' Instagram account with his mom gives a sense of the graphite exteriors of the charming property.

According to multiple reports, the couple have a stylish condo in a haute Tribeca building. It’s a celebrity hot spot, as it’s been home to Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lawrence, and Harry Styles, among others.

Once a 19th-century book bindery, the building was converted into luxe residences with unique character. It now offers 53 loft-style homes and eight penthouses.

Offering the “highest degree of service,” the building also provides on-site, 24/7 staff.

Lively and Reynolds must love the history combined with the convenience of the paparazzi-proof building, where units cost anywhere from $6 million to $50 million.

We don’t know specifically which unit they picked, but they had an option of a variety of spaces, including a loft or penthouse.

Custom kitchens designed by Christopher Peacock are encased in wood and fluted glass cabinetry with 2-inch-thick Calacatta marble on the kitchen islands. Primary baths feature slabs of marble behind a freestanding tub, radiant floor heating, and a glass-enclosed rain shower with a built-in bench.

Residents also enjoy an indoor pool, a fitness center, wine lockers, and other high-end amenities. And paparazzi-averse residents can enter the building through a private garage, another huge perk.

In April, an insider claimed to the Daily Mail that she and her husband have "discussed moving to the United Kingdom."

As for why the duo are even considering the U.K., the insider noted that Reynolds has already established a life for himself there, having purchased a majority stake in a local soccer club, Wrexham, in 2021.

Reynolds and Lively have flown across the pond to the U.K. to watch multiple Wrexham games and, the source stated, they feel that they will have a better chance to move past the legal drama in a new locale.

“With Ryan’s huge success with [his Welsh soccer club], Wrexham, he has a great affinity for the U.K.,” the insider told the outlet, noting that the actress “could rebrand there.”

Lively is also said to be of the opinion that she would have greater career opportunities overseas, having seen her reputation somewhat hampered by the ongoing legal saga.

She "believes there are top-of-the-line filmmakers who could give her a second chance," the insider went on.

According to the Daily Mail, “most people in the industry” are “steer[ing] clear” of Lively following her feud with Baldoni.

“Blake isn’t getting the offers. There hasn’t been anywhere near the same interest in her since the Baldoni drama exploded. She’s burned bridges," another source claimed.

According to the outlet, the Hollywood power duo are now trying to sort through how they will raise their children abroad.

“What’s making them take a long, hard look at their immediate future is that their kids’ schooling and friends are in the States,” the outlet claimed of Reynolds and Lively.
