Christina Haack Praises ‘Fun’ Co-Parenting Friendship With Heather El Moussa on Napa Birthday Trip

HGTV personality Christina Haack has a lot of love for pal Heather El Moussa and took to social media to share a sweet sentiment in honor of her co-parent’s 39th birthday.

Alongside a series of playful photos showcasing the duo’s best moments—from their penchant for dressing in coordinating outfits to the events they’ve attended with each other—the “Flip or Flop” star, 43, penned a caption expressing her gratitude for the relationship.

“Love co-parenting, working and all the fun adventures with you!” she wrote. “Can’t wait to see what the last year of our 30s has in store for you. Appreciate you and our friendship.”

Heather jumped into the comment section to thank Christina for the tribute, writing, “Aww love this and you.”

The women—who share a unique connection as Heather is married to Christina's ex-husband Tarek El Moussa—didn’t just mark the occasion with a social media post. They spent an entire extended weekend in Napa, CA, with their respective partners, raising a glass to Heather’s latest trip around the sun.

The birthday celebrant documented the action-packed trip in an Instagram post—which was also cross-posted on the personal accounts of her husband, Christina, and Christina’s boyfriend, Chris Larocca.

“39 came in hot and slightly buzzed!” Heather captioned the post.

She also included the group’s full itinerary for those who may be looking for Wine Country recommendations.

On the first day, they checked into the “pretty” Stanly Ranch before enjoying lunch and drinks at a hotel. A wine tasting and dinner followed shortly after, with Heather remarking that “the boys don’t even remember” the meal.

Day 2 kicked off with breakfast at the hotel in the form of room service by a fire pit. The quartet made their way to a second tasting at Far Niente before enjoying lunch at Clementine’s and then visiting Shafer Vineyards. They capped the night with another meal at the hotel restaurant, Bear.

The last day of the trip came with plans Heather can “highly recommend”: relaxation at the Spa at Stanly Ranch before grabbing lunch by the pool.

The set of couples squeezed in a fourth and final tasting at Sangiacomo Family Vineyards before they got room service and “passed out.”

Christina left a comment to remark that the trip was the “best early birthday celebration!”

Tarek, 45, also showered his wife in kind words with a celebratory post, including a lengthy caption and a series of heartwarming snaps from their life together.

“Well birthday girl ... looking at these photos we really did it all!” he wrote. “We’ve traveled the world, thrown amazing parties, got married, created and raised babies, started businesses and filmed TV shows!

“In the end, we created one heck of a big happy family,” the real estate investor continued, before marveling over how much time has passed.

“I still can’t believe you’re 39, which is actually two years older than I was when you met me! But somehow, even at 39, you look younger than I did at 21.”

The doting husband went on to note he loves his role as Heather’s partner, calling her the “absolute best mommy.”

Together, the El Moussas share a son, Tristan Jay El Moussa, 3.

Brayden James El Moussa, 11, and Taylor Reese El Moussa, 15, are the children Tarek shares with Christina, who later welcomed son Hudson London Antsead in 2019 with her now ex-husband, Ant Anstead.

Christina and Tarek were married from 2009 to 2016, finalizing their divorce in 2018. Together, they co-hosted “Flip or Flop” from 2013 to 2022.

Tarek met Heather in 2019. After a year of dating, he popped the question to the “Selling Sunset” star, and the pair wed in October 2021.

The couple are currently looking to rent out the Newport Beach, CA, property they purchased for $3.1 million in 2020, having recently upgraded to a $5.2 million abode in the same beachfront neighborhood.

They’ve knocked thousands off the asking price in search of a tenant, which was listed at $30,000 a month at its highest. Currently, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom dwelling is listed at $19,995 a month.

Christina, Tarek, and Heather have all appeared on “The Flip Off,” an HGTV competition series which pits the exes against each other to see who can make the highest return on investment after buying, renovating, and selling a home.

The first season of the show premiered in 2025, with a second slated for a 2026 return.
