US Home Prices Have Doubled In 10 Years
Good news for many home owners but bad news for home buyers, the price for a home has doubled less than 10 years. And even worse for people looking to buy a Florida condo or home where prices doubled in some towns in just six years. According to a new study from Point2, the average price of a home in the US has gone from $200,000 in 2014 to $400,000 in 2024. In Miami, the average home price jumped from about $290,000 in 2018 to $583,000 in 2024. Florida new home buyers account for over 10% of all new construction buyers in the country.
