EXCLUSIVE: A$AP Rocky Quietly Sold Raided L.A. Mansion for $4 Million—Months Before Rihanna Gave Birth to Their Third Child

by Charlie Lankston

Rapper A$AP Rocky and his longtime partner, Rihanna, may well have concealed the news of their third pregnancy until May—but it appears the expectant father was busy making preparations for the baby girl's arrival long before they went public with the news.

Days before Rihanna debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala in New York, A$AP, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, quietly sold his Los Angeles home for $3.95 million, Realtor.com® can exclusively reveal.

The property—which A$AP purchased in 2015 for $3.05 million—was the site of an April 2022 raid carried out by police, who used battering rams to gain access to the dwelling as part of their investigation into claims the rapper had shot a gun at a former friend during an altercation on the street in 2021.

A$AP, 36, was found not guilty of the charges in a Los Angeles court in February of this year.

During the trial, the jury was shown images taken during the raid, with video footage captured at the time revealing that officers used a battering ram to gain access to the gated dwelling, which is located on a leafy street lined with luxury properties.

The cops removed multiple boxes of evidence from the home as well as several guns, which did not match the one used in the shooting, according to TMZ, which later published images of several U-Haul trucks leaving the home.

However, the rapper decided to hold on to the property until his trial came to an end—with records showing that he sold it in an off-market deal that closed on April 21, two months after he was cleared of the charges against him.

Days later, he opened up about the trial, telling Variety in a candid interview that he felt as though the legal process had "handicapped him" but that he was looking forward to moving on from the incident.

"For sure, it’s a lesson learned. I think I had trust issues for a while now. I can’t necessarily blame it on my last situation. But what I did learn is you’ve gotta accept that everybody’s not good people; you’re not gonna run into a solid person every time," he shared.

"Not everybody’s gonna handle situations like you. Once you accept that you’re not responsible for nobody’s actions but yours … That’s where I’m at."

Speaking about the lead-up to the jury revealing its verdict, A$AP said he tried his best not to think about what might have happened had he been found guilty, explaining that he made a big effort to remain "positive" throughout the trial.

"You got to stop yourself from thinking like that. Because that could get the best of you, and you can manifest that energy by mistake. I tried to stay positive at all times," he said. "But it was definitely gut-wrenching and nerve-racking, and I was definitely scared for my freedom.

"I was so thankful that the jury made that decision. I was really thankful for how the judge was respectful and treated me like a first-class citizen. And I was thankful for my team and my lawyer, my family and my mom for being there with me the whole time."

The rapper then voiced his determination to move on with his life, noting that he had plenty of other positive things to focus his energy on, including his family and his music—and, it now seems, the sale of his home.

It's thought that A$AP had not used the five-bedroom dwelling as his primary residence for some time before he sold it, having snapped up a stunning Beverly Hills mansion with Rihanna for $13.8 million in 2020, one year after they went public with their romance.

Since then, the duo has welcomed three children together: sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki, who was born Sept. 13.

While A$AP did not officially list his home on the MLS, a previous description of the property hailed it as a "cutting edge" dwelling with "superior designer finishes," noting that it was located in a "prime" neighborhood between Beverly Grove and West Hollywood.

Spanning 4,300 square feet, the abode was newly built when A$AP snapped it up. At the time, it offered an Italian kitchen with designer appliances, a "sunken conversation area," and multiple balconies and patios.

Outside, the home boasted an "entertainer's backyard," complete with a "zero edge pool" and a spa, as well as a covered outdoor dining area.

Though opulent, the property pales in comparison to the luxury A$AP and Rihanna enjoy in their Beverly Hills abode, which boasts a total of 7,700 square feet of living space, including five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

In its listing, the dwelling was described as offering "an elevated living experience" as well as plenty of privacy, no doubt a major draw for a couple with such star power.

Designed with all manner of elevated amenities, the home boasts a staggering level of luxury—both inside and out.

Among its more impressive interior features are a "stunningly executed" chef's kitchen, a private gym, a cocktail bar, a "formal" living room, and a more relaxed family room.

The primary suite is equipped with its own private patio, as well as a "spa-like" bathroom that features an enormous soaking tub—and a huge glass wall that can be opened up to the outside seating area.

Outside, a sunken pool area features an elevated platform with enough room for several loungers, while another paved entertaining space could well serve as an outdoor dining area.

A picturesque pool cabana was designed as a second living room—however, it could be transformed to serve as a guesthouse should the need arise.
