A Taste of Italy In Their Backyard
April 25th is Liberation Day in Italy, an annual holiday to celebrate the end of Italy’s Axis partnership with Germany in World War II, when the Allied military forces took back the country from the Nazi occupation. A Las Vegas couple has their own Italian celebration: an Italian street in their backyard with storefronts, cobblestones, a fountain and café tables. The owners created the “street” as an homage to Italy and Italian culture. The six-bedroom home in the city’s exclusive The Ridges neighborhood has almost 10,000 square feet and is priced at $6.5 million.
