‘Selling Sunset’ Star Jason Oppenheim Reveals His $500K Rolls-Royce Was Stolen From Outside His L.A. Office

"Selling Sunset" star Jason Oppenheim has revealed that his $500,000 Rolls-Royce was stolen in broad daylight from outside the Los Angeles office of his eponymous real estate brokerage.

Oppenheim, 48, who has been starring in the Netflix reality TV series since 2019, explained in a recent event held at his offices on the Sunset Strip that his luxury vehicle had been parked in a designated car park when it was taken by an anonymous thief on March 16.

"I had my car stolen last week out of the parking lot here—a $500,000 Rolls-Royce," Oppenheim said at an event he held for Matt Mahan, a Democratic candidate for governor of California. During the event, the luxury real estate broker discussed the state of crime in the city with other participants, including billionaire Rick Caruso and District Attorney Nathan Hochman.

According to TMZ, Oppenheim filed a police report soon after the incident took place; however, officers have yet to locate the Rolls-Royce or make any arrests.

In a video from the event, which was obtained by the outlet, the real estate expert conceded that he is in a very privileged position to even own such a pricey car—joking that he doesn't expect pity from anyone.

"Selling the OC" star Jason Oppenheim believes a personal life decision is the only good reason to be buying or selling a home in today's housing market.

“Don’t feel sorry for me, it’s a Rolls-Royce. But still," he went on.

The Oppenheim Group's Los Angeles offices are located at a busy area of West Hollywood where multiple businesses can be found, including Drybar, Kim Kardashian's SKIMS, and an Equinox gym.

Fans of "Selling Sunset" will be incredibly familiar with the location, which has served as the backdrop for the Netflix series since 2023, when Oppenheim and his agents moved to the new office space from their previous headquarters on Sunset Boulevard.

In an update shared on The Oppenheim Group website, the new office was described as being "bigger" and much "more lavish" than their previous space, which was located "right next door."

The news of the theft comes amid rumors that the cast for Season 10 of "Selling Sunset" is still up in the air.

It has been revealed that the the cast of "Selling Sunset" is reportedly set for a major shake-up, with Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa said to be returning to Netflix's hit real estate drama.

Nicole Young is also said to have exited the cast of the show, with TMZ reporting that she told producers she had "no interest" in returning for Season 10 of "Selling Sunset."

However, the real estate pro is still listed as an agent on The Oppenheim Group's website, suggesting that she has not cut ties with her career on the West Coast—although it remains to be seen whether she will manage her work from her new home in Nashville.

Interestingly, her Oppenheim Group profile calls attention to her ability to multitask, stating: "Nicole has experience representing a wide range of clientele from first time buyers and sellers to celebrities, executives, and other high profile individuals.

"Resulting from her range in clientele, she has developed the ability to fulfill many different roles during the transaction process. From salesperson to buyer’s advocate, analyst, advisor, consultant, negotiator, and marketing specialist she will adapt to provide her clients the support and skills they need.

"Above all, she always has a meticulous, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset."

The 2,900-square-foot, two-bedroom, three-bathroom West Hollywood condo that Jason had been renting for the past year was just sold by his brother Brett Oppenheim.

While Young's departure from the show has yet to be confirmed, her role is far from the only "Selling Sunset" shake-up set for the upcoming season. It was also previously reported that Young's co-star Chelsea Lazkani was also turning her back on the show.

Weeks after Quinn confessed that she was having "conversations" with the streaming giant about coming back to the series on her own terms, reports emerged saying that the Texas native will be front and center for the show's 10th season.

In fact, the cast was apparently "supposed to start filming, and it has been delayed because they are waiting for her to finish negotiations," according to Us Weekly.

The 37-year-old became one of the most divisive women on TV after being positioned as the "villain" of the cast during her five-season run on "Selling Sunset," which premiered in 2019.

Quinn did not address what a return to "Selling Sunset" would mean for her life in Dallas.

The reality TV alum previously gushed about her return to her home state, telling the Dallas Morning News that her decision to move there was not only a desire to get out of California, but also a need to get back to her roots, noting that many viewers might not have realized that she's a Texas native.

"A lot of people don't know that I'm actually from Texas originally. So I grew up here, and I went to Southlake Carroll. A lot of people don't know that," she said. "My family still lives in the same house that I grew up in, and I live in the area. I'm a suburb gal."

"Dallas is like my home and Fort Worth as well," she said of her love for the Lone Star State.

She then showcased her favorite spots in the area for a girls' night out.
